Using DXL to piece together OLE objects?

I know how to display an OLE as a bitmap into a canvas and I know that this can be done multiple times to continue repositioning but can the canvas be exported to a bitmap to save the multiple bitmaps into a single?

Better yet can DOORS DXL generate a large bitmap from multiple smaller bitmaps as a canvas is limited to an initial size I believe (though I guess I could pre-calculate the canvas size needed before creating it)?

I am pretty sure, you need to precalculate the canvas size, since there is not a lot of functionality in DXL for this kind of BITMAP manipulation stuff.

Maybe the canvas does not even need to be displayed or be realized? In this case you could maybe create a larger new dummy canvas (which is not even bound to a visible dialog), copy the stuff over and then append the new picture, and get rid of the old canvas. Just a weird idea, maybe it helps, regards, Mathias
